About - Reform Athletica

Reform Athletica is a boutique fitness studio inspired by the vibrant fitness scenes of New York, London and LA. Currently located in two locations in Dubai’s Jumeirah 1 and DIFC's ICD Brookfield Place – the studio is located perfectly between the urban city bustle and Dubai’s beautiful beaches.

We are boutique; we are not a gym, and we are not priced like a gym. Our classes are capped at 14 people, depending on the class. We have five signature classes: The Reform Method, MicroForm, RA Strength, Yoga and Sculpt and Burn. Each of our classes are designed to complement one another; between low-intensity, high-intensity, stretching, strength and conditioning - we have it covered.

Our classes are 45-60 minutes long and we do not distinguish between skill levels; beginners and advanced participants are all equally welcome and no prior experience is required for any class. Our instructors will modify exercises or demonstrate alternatives to ensure that you get the most out of your session, no matter your gender or level of experience.

Our Art

Upon entering either of our studios, you’ll notice we’ve tried to create a space that truly feels like home. The owners, having a long-time passion for art and culture have collected art pieces from around the world for the studio, giving the space a unique flair. There is a story behind every piece – whether it was a personal connection they had that drew them to add it to their collection, or its interpretation is in alignment with our core values as a studio. Whether the former or the latter, each piece is beautiful– from the inside out.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability and going green in as many areas as we can is one our main core values as a studio. We are plastic-free, so there are no plastic cups, bottles or bags and any bottles offered will be fully recyclable. We have S’well bottles on offer, encouraging our clients to participate in our drive to minimise single-use plastic consumption and use our filtered water for refills at both of our studios.

Additionally at our juice bar at ICD Brookfield Place, RAFresh - clients can receive a discount for bringing their own mug as a reward for avoiding single-use consumables. These efforts have resulted in our studio being awarded the badge of “Ocean Champion”, the highest level of the Oceanic Standard in recognition of our efforts to adopt a holistic approach to sustainable operating practices with a strong focus on eliminating single-use plastic.

All of our cups are fully biodegradable in accordance with the conditions of the International Biodegradable Products Institute of Compostable Products. RAFresh has also partnered up with OneTreePlanted where a percentage of each purchase will go towards planting a tree and offsetting our environmental impact.

RAFresh

RAFresh is our juice bar which is operating in our ICDBP studio. We are committed to fueling your active lifestyle with an array of signature healthy beverages that are light on the calories without compromising flavor.
Our menu boasts a selection of blended protein smoothies and fresh juices that serve as perfect pre and post-class refreshments, designed to replenish your energy, or just give you that pick-me-up you need
in your day. Whether you're gearing up for an intense workout or winding down after a session, our offerings cater to your every need.
Embracing an eco-friendly ethos, RAfresh is proud to provide filtered water on tap, promoting sustainability and minimizing environmental impact by ensuring no plastic water bottles are stocked. We take a stand against plastic waste with our commitment to plastic-free cups and straws, ensuring that your enjoyment aligns with our dedication to a cleaner planet. In addition to our juices and smoothies, indulge in the rich
flavors of our premium coffee, rounding out our diverse menu with a satisfying kick for those who appreciate a caffeine boost.
We’ve also established a partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on reforestation. 5% of our monthly juice bar sales will support tree planting initiatives, aiding us in offsetting our consumption and giving back to the environment. Reducing our carbon footprint is core to our ethos, as we remain proudly plastic-free and now collaborate with One Tree Planted to further our efforts to go green.

No – we don’t make a distinction! Our approach and philosophy is that all levels are welcome. Every class can be tailored to both beginners and advanced students. The instructor gives suggestions for every level of fitness and experience. Let the instructor know that it's your first class so he or she can guide you through the process. It's a good idea to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first class to check in for your induction.

Yes, yes and yes! We have lockers in the changing rooms for client use but we do not recommend bringing anything valuable as we are not responsible for any lost or stolen goods. Our changing rooms are equipped with all that is needed to get you from gym ready to street ready.

For clients who are pregnant and new to Reform Athletica, we will require you to complete an introductory Personal Training session with one of our experienced trainers who will assess whether you're able to join our group classes. We do recommend Personal Training for our prenatal clients over attending group clients to ensure you're getting the upmost attention and care for your body and baby.
To book in for a Personal Training session please email guestrelations@reformathletica.com

If you have been attending Reform Athletica for some time and have just found out you are pregnant, please advise your instructor on your due date. You will need to be briefed on modifications prior to your workout so please come to class 10 minutes ahead of the starting time to ensure your safety.

A doctor's note will be required for all prenatal clients after your second trimester.
